CV and vacancy matching
Help a person see where they fit, what is missing and what practical step could improve an application.
Career Access Hackathon
One in-person day to build a working tool for people trying to understand vacancies, applications and employment information in the UK.
The brief
The target is a working web prototype for a later Career Access pilot, not a clever slide deck.
Help a person see where they fit, what is missing and what practical step could improve an application.
Make the UK employment system less of a maze, with clear signposting to useful support.
For rights and obligations, the tool must use current GOV.UK or ACAS sources, show the source and never guess.
How the day works
Teams of 3–5. Developers, designers, HR professionals, community organisers, students and practical problem-solvers are all welcome.
CulturaLinks provides anonymised CVs, vacancies, user questions and official source links. No real personal data is needed.
Show the panel what the user can do, why it helps and what needs testing before a pilot.
